3 Plays Performed by Girne American College on World Theaters Day

Students of the American College have greatly participated for the plays of Shadow play of Turkish folk theater- Karagöz and Hacivat, a significant piece form world literature an abstract of Shakespeare’s Macbeth; “A Showcase of a Scene" play and modern theater themed play “Paradise Lie Beneath the Mothers’ Feet”, during the World Theaters Day events.

The students and the authorities of the American College Theater Society, whom were strongly applauded for minutes by parents and students at the end of the event, have stated that the best of Turkish and world literature were performed during the World Theaters Day aiming to inspire the students of American College the love for art and integrate them the theatral performance which had been in existence since centuries back and allowed all human behavior to be vivid on stage.
